• return to Taupo: 4.00pm (earlier if all have arrived)

One way departures

The most affordable of our services: $30.00 pp

Not only is it seriously good value for money, it offers a huge amount of flexibility:

• Want extra time to climb the summits of Tongariro or Ngauruhoe?
• Do the difficult climbs before the main heat of the day?
• Not such a fit or fast hiker and concerned about the amount of time?
• Want to avoid the crowds?

One way morning departures from Ketetahi (finish) to Mangatepopo (start)

• 6.30 am, 7.30 am and 8.00 am (9.00 am, pre-booking required, min 2pax)

One way afternoon departures from Ketetahi (finish) to Mangatepopo (start)

• 3.00 pm, 4.00pm and 5.30 pm

These times may change due to demand, weather conditions and changes in daylight savings. Times will be confirmed when you call to book your seat.

Bookings

All bookings need to be confirmed by phone (0800 247 800) the day before so you can have the most up to date track and weather conditions and your pick up location and time will also be confirmed.

Credit card details are required to secure booking. Eftpos is available on shuttle or at Adventure HQ’s base.

What if I miss my return shuttle?

You will not be left stranded.

With consideration to other passengers our shuttles depart at scheduled times. A late fee will be charged.

Cancellation policy

As this is a weather dependent activity, we reserve the right to cancel trips at short notice. Refunds are offered on a case by case basis and are done in good faith and to the relevant legislation.
